SCANDINAVIAN CHIC APARTMENT

We were asked to bring some Scandinavian ‘Hygge’ to this 2 bedroom apartment in Hackney Wick. We therefore layered the home with sheepskin rugs, rattan furniture, wooden finished, lots of cushions, macrame wall hangings, black and white artwork and complimentary textures including linens and wools. The colour palette was kept natural - we used a base of green and grey paints with a few subtle pastel shades to add interest to the scheme. Industrial style, metal pieces gave an edge to the design which helped created the perfect interior for the young homeowners in this formerly industrial area of London.
