MALLORCA MINIMAL HOLIDAY HOME

The ground floor of this holiday home in Santa Catalina, Mallorca was converted from a shop into an independent apartment below the the main house. Studio Morton completed both the interior architecture and interior design adding bespoke crittal room dividers made from metal and glass, bespoke joinery, a chimney breast to accommodate the bio-ethanol fire and cinema-style TV, recessed wall-shelves with LED lighting and a large-scale bespoke crittal mirror which creates the illusion of more space and bounces light back into the naturally dark room. Soft furnishings and upholstery were sourced locally on the island with feature lighting creating drama and modern furniture bringing a contemporary edge.
